The Machine Control Training Course contains practical and written assessments and is made up of two parts

1. The theory.

Our course starts out in a classroom situation with a background on machine control and associated technologies. This is an important element of the course as it covers:

  • Why machine control is implemented to improve the construction workflow.
  • The theory of GNSS and how we can reach the desired accuracies using local base stations or network RTK.
  • Common Hardware and calibration procedures.
  • Explain the principles of daily checks and basic troubleshooting.
  • An explanation of the data requirements and syncing.
  • Correct application of the equipment and its primary functions.
  • How to create one’s own data/models when not readily available.
