Map360 4.0 was an instrumental release focussed on ease of use and simplification of day to day tasks. In Map360 2021, creating and viewing of 3D scenes is a lot easier and even more intuitive. We now support importing obj. models which give you access to millions of models and improve compatibility with other 3D applications. You can not only view the models but also edit the size, position or even colours. You can position your 3D models with ease and precision. Using the 3D orbit tool easy repositioning or rotating your objects is now possible. Also, in the Map 360 2021 release, included are new models of cars, household items, trees and fire pre-plan symbols. Once your 3D scene comes to life, you can use the walk, fly and panorama features to quickly move through your scene, and navigate and look at it from different perspectives and views.
Visual styles and object transparencies allow you to render your scene in many different ways. Use the X-ray mode to see through walls or the conceptual style to draw attention to critical details.
Make your deliverables looking even more professional, customising your backgrounds.
IFC models are also supported in this release. Import floorplans and other 3D building models that you can use to create 2D or 3D diagrams and other related deliverables. Leica Cyclone REGISTER360 users can now open their point clouds directly in Map360 2021 without exporting the data first. You can also import multiple point clouds in the same project.
