Reality Capture Solutions for Public Safety, Security and Forensics
Our measurement and positioning technologies accurately capture data in a variety of formats, from point data and photogrammetric imagery to point cloud data. Our 3D laser scanning, mobile mapping, total station and GNSS solutions, enable you to completely capture evidence and clear scenes quickly, making the digital documentation and mapping safer. Reduce disruption, lower the risks and protect your teams and the public.
3D laser scanning
Quality is a tradition built deep within our DNA. We have a commitment to excellence and exceptional attention to detail. Our broad offering for Public Safety professionals combines the power of laser scanning like the RTC360 laser scanner, the Leica BLK360, or the Leica Scan Stations with longstanding expert know-how and hands-on mentality. We are proud that our laser scanners are setting standards in the global Public Safety industry for many years now, being used by professionals in crime, crash, fire investigations, security pre-planning, disaster risk management or mission planning and control within military operations.
Using a high-performance laser scanner, you as a Public Safety professional can capture every detail on the scene and the surroundings in high quality, quickly and safely. Whether you need industry-leading accuracy to capture extreme details and rugged durability for operations in challenging terrain and under difficult conditions our laser scanner work with you in every step of your workflow. With the ability to easily capture a full-dome scan with High-Dynamic Range (HDR) images at high speeds, or the ease of scanning at the touch of a button while simultaneously capturing 360° photos with a compact device, our laser scanners are available to fit every challenge and budget.
Mobile mapping and UAV solutions
Challenging operational conditions in difficult terrain, under adverse weather conditions and round-the-clock mission readiness? State visit or major event to pre-plan and to be made a secure event? Mass collision, train crash or other large incidents that need to be investigated? Our technology fuses 3D data intelligence from the air, land or water and the modelling capabilities of our sophisticated software offer security and incident managers, military command or border control officers with actionable information.
Our mobile mapping solutions: the handheld BLK2GO, the wearable Pegasus: Backpack and the vehicle-mounted Pegasus:Two Ultimate or our UAV solutions allow professionals to collect the most information with the fewest assets and in the quickest way possible.
Map your large outdoor scenes in 3D in real time as you walk or drive. Our multi-sensor 3D mapping technology is versatile and accurate, enabling Public Safety professionals to easily capture imagery, geolocation and 3D laser measurements for comprehensive scene intelligence.
Field documentation, total stations and GNSS solutions
With the broadest portfolio of geospatial solutions for scene documentation, preservation and visualisation in 2D and 3D, we offer fit-for-purpose solutions available for any budget, every scene size and every workflow.
Investigators can simply document and revisit a crime, crash or fire scene with the BLK3D, our 3D measurement solution based on photos. The Leica BLK3D enables you to measure hard to reach areas and even past obstacles safely.
GS18 I rover excels in the high-speed documentation of collision scenes and outdoor crime scenes, where police officers can capture all the details of the location in a matter of minutes simply by walking around the scene. The GS18 I combines an IMU with GNSS, which captures the 3D coordinates for positioning purposes.
Our best-in-class total stations automatically monitor small or large structures, e.g. dams or buildings, to detect movement to warn of potential structural collapse and disaster. With our total station solutions, firefighting units secure rescue operations measuring point-to-point stability, e.g. building collapsed in a fire. Thus increasing the safety on-site for all first responders in action and the victims.
