Chinese satellite navigation system BeiDou now available within Leica Geosystems reference station
The BeiDou network RTK is now available in the recent release of the Leica Spider Software Suite v5.2. With the addition of the Chinese satellite navigation system – from receiver configuration to raw data archiving and real-time correction services – all major operational satellite navigation systems around the world can be used with the Leica Spider Software Suite.
“Jiangsu Continuously Operating Reference Stations (JSCORS) network has been working with Leica Geosystems’ CORS solutions since 2006. JSCORS provides highly precise and reliable network RTK spatial positioning services to over 2,000 users, covering land surveying, surveying and mapping, planning, seismology, meteorology, and utility industries,” said Yong Wang, director of JSCORS in the Jiangsu province of China. “Thanks to the stability of the provided Leica Geosystems’ hardware, software, and technical support, we have been able to deliver extremely efficient services to our end users. Along with the development of GNSS, Leica Geosystems always provides timely upgradeable solutions, according to the latest developments in technology and customer needs. JSCORS has modernised CORS network from GPS only, to GPS and GLONASS, and now go one step further to GPS+GLONASS+BeiDou system. Leica Geosystems’ excellent and complete solutions have laid down a solid foundation for us to improve the quality of our service.”
