Outstanding results from Leica Geosystems team at the Engineering Challenge Cup 2015 race
We can be proud of the Leica Geosystems sailing team that participated for the tenth time in the yearly Engineering Challenge Cup. The six day sailing regatta took place May 9 – 15 in the waters around Biograd (Croatia) with lots of sun and good winds.
Congratulations go to the Leica Geosystems team, led by Bastiaan Timmer (skipper) and included Martin Keller (co-skipper), Alexandra Knecht, Christoph Bachmann, Pascal Hutter and Steve Schachtler, who made overall 4th out of 42 participating teams.
With their “Bavaria 42 Match” boat named “Las Palmas” the Leica Geosystems team made 2nd place within the “Blue Division” of 11 equal boats.
