Lava 2015 Career Fair – Stockholm, Sweden
At Leica Geosystems, we are always looking to engage with the talents of tomorrow. Our team in Sweden attended the recent Lava 2015 Career Fair which was hosted at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Lava 2015 is aimed at Built Environment Engineering (Samhällsbyggnadssektionens) students and graduates. The faculty brings together expertise in various disciplines including engineering, architecture, building, surveying, industrial design and computer science. On the 2nd Tuesday each February, the KTH opens its doors to the Career Fair, to encourage young professionals to engage with potential employers directly and to find out what it is like to work in various companies.
At the Leica Geosystems booth, there was a keen interest in our on-board machine control solutions for Construction applications, and many students and visitors took the opportunity to operate our mini Excavator (see picture below) and learn more about our technology.
We are very proud to support the Lava Career Fair in Sweden and appreciated the opportunity to engage with the future innovators and leaders of industry. We would like to thank all who were involved for their organisation and participating in this great initiative.
Further information about Lava 2015 can be found at the Lava 2015 Facebook Page. If you would like to learn more about embarking on a career at Leica Geosystems, please visit the Leica Geosystems Careers Page.
