Airborne Solutions User Group Meeting 2016 International case studies presented

The Airborne Solutions User Group Meeting will take place from 3 - 5 February, 2016 in Barcelona, Spain, and features the latest technology updates in airborne imaging, topographic and bathymetric LiDAR (Download program here).

International case studies
Gregory Lucas, Peter Enyedi and Dr. Csaba Lenart from the Karoly Robert College in Hungary will introduce their research of high performance sensors for applications such as environmental protection and water management and present results and applications about vegetation mapping with LiDAR/hyperspectral fusion, disaster management, rapid response based on remotely sensed data and flood modelling.

Professor Tim Webster from Applied Geomatics Research Group, Nova Scotia Community College, Canada will present on the calculation of underwater biomass from sea-bed vegetation based on Chiroptera II surveys.

Registration
Registration is free of charge for Leica Geosystems customers with a Customer Care Package (CCP). Companies without CCP can take advantage of the extended early bird rate if they register before 20 January 2016.

The meeting will be hosted by valued Leica Geosystems customer, the Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya (ICGC).
