Leica Geosystems 2016 Plan Contest Awards showcase state-of-the-art reality capture deliverables

Leica Geosystems is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016 Plan Contest.

An annual highlight of the Geosystems Track at HxGN LIVE, the contest gives conference attendees the opportunity to showcase their best deliverables by submitting plans that demonstrate creativity and innovative problem solving with reality capture.

The 2016 awards were presented in four categories: Buildings/Heritage, Civil/Survey, Plant/Marine, and Building Construction. A panel of five qualified judges evaluated 17 entries based on the completeness and usefulness of the plans, the creative use of point clouds and models, and overall appearance.

Popular Vote to Open 1 July

A new award category this year, the popular vote will take place on the Leica Geosystems Facebook page through the month of July. Visitors can browse all of the entries and vote for their favorites by selecting “Like.” The entry with the highest number of likes on 1 August will receive an award for best all-around plan.
