Leica iCON iXE3 - 3D System
Advanced 3D excavator machine control solution
One-for-all
Leica Geosystems offers one software and one hardware platform for all 3D applications. The cable-free panel allows the operator to easily swap panel from one machine to another. You can now expand the 3D machine control offering to include compact excavators and Huddig backhoes with swing boom. Leica Geosystems offers a flexible solution with swing boom sensor or manual calculation of the position of the swing boom. Add machine control to compact excavators, and benefit from all the advantages of 3D machine control.
Increase your uptime
The efficient menu structure is set up for easy management of the all project files. Increase your uptime due to a user interface that gives the operator quick access to select the functions that are needed for the workflow. The interface keeps the operator in the run screen and targets his attention to the job at hand. Select full screen or split screen to guide you to the most efficient view that assists you through the job.
Share data seamlessly
Share data seamlessly with integrated solutions from Leica Geosystems. Project files from Leica ConX are automatically synchronised with the Leica MC1 software for the excavator as well as the iCON site software solutions. Use the iCON excavate to log measured points and share the data with Leica ConX for project progress calculations and productivity analyses. The iXE3 solutions allows you to share log points between machines for project progress monitoring and follow-up.
Automating the excavator
Leica Geosystems offers several tools that will increase the productivity of your excavator by automating vital functions. The new semi-automatic functionality for excavator offers partly or fully automation of the boom, bucket, tilt bucket or tilt rotator. Use the semi-automatic excavator functionality to perform complex excavation tasks such as slope creation and trenching faster and more accurately. Other automating features such as iXE CoPilot and Automatic Tool Recognition help the operator to work with less fatigue and higher working comfort with resulting less over digging and reduced operational costs.
