Leica CityMapper

One Flight, Twice the Data

The Leica CityMapper is the world’s first airborne sensor specifically designed for urban mapping applications, allowing those involved in the development and execution of Smart City strategies and urban planning to make decisions based on the best available geospatial data base. From one flight only and with one sensor in a standard aircraft installation, one operator can acquire multispectral nadir imagery, oblique imagery in four directions with 45° degrees and high density LiDAR data, which subsequently can be processed to provide the most comprehensive and high resolution data source for smart decision making. Hybrid flight planning and mission execution support highly effective data acquisition.
