The 4 sub-tracks of the Hexagon Geosystems Track

With more than 100 relevant presentations incorporating reports on industry trends, new technology previews and interactive technical demonstrations, the Hexagon Geosystems track has been divided into four sub-tracks:

• Surveying and Infrastructure

• Laser Scanning/HDS

The Laser Scanning/HDS sub-track originated as the annual "Leica Geosystems HDS Worldwide User Conference", held in San Ramon, California, USA, starting in 2005. In 2011 this highly regarded event was merged into the inaugural Hexagon international conference as its Laser Scanning/HDS (High-Definition Surveying) sub-track. Today, this popular subtrack features: >40 high-quality presentations by leading users and Leica HDS staff on timely topics; special “mini-tracks” on scanning for Plants/Ships, Buildings/BIM, Heritage, and Forensics; >20 hands-on, expert-led training workshops; the popular "HDS Plan Contest" showcasing creative HDS deliverables from users around the world; very latest product demos; and, the very best networking opportunities available anywhere for laser scanning/HDS users. This sub-track also provides valuable information and contacts for those considering getting into laser scanning. Hundreds of conference attendees participate annually in this very popular sub-track.

• Geospatial Solutions
